Where the photograph will live
Share the profile or layout requirements and a few references with notes about what you like. A company directory may specify a background even when you are paying for your own session.
What should remain recognizably you
Wear your usual glasses if you use them day to day. Tell us about retouching preferences and features you want preserved. Aim for an accurate current portrait rather than a heavily altered version of yourself.
A practical outfit choice
Bring clean, well-fitting options that suit your work and allow comfortable movement. Check collars and necklines while seated. If there is only one required look, more outfits need not improve the result.

Example: selecting a profile image without overthinking it
Start with a clear head-and-shoulders composition and a natural expression. Make small adjustments to posture and light rather than inventing a different character.
Check glasses reflections, stray clothing edges and whether the background competes with the face. Changes on set are often simpler than complicated editing later.
View the strongest options at avatar size as well as full size. A subtle expression that works large may be hard to read in a small circular crop.
Choose the image that is recognizable and suitable for its destination. This is a sample selection process, not a promise of interviews, connections or job offers.

I am uncomfortable in front of a camera. Is that a problem?
You do not need a practiced pose. Explain what feels awkward so the session can use simple direction and a pace appropriate to the booked scope.
Should I remove my glasses?
If glasses are part of your everyday appearance, start with them. Reflections can be assessed during the session; bring a clean pair and mention lens concerns in advance.
Is this for a company buying portraits for employees?
This page is for individual self-promotion. A business booking a roster should use corporate headshots so coordination, company usage and procurement are addressed.
Usage and booking
Consumer packages include personal use, while headshot and model packages include professional self-promotion. Business packages can include website, organic social, recruiting, sales, press, and internal use. Paid advertising, outdoor campaigns, resale, and third-party use are licensed separately.
The optional $100 priority deposit after intake is credited toward the session but does not reserve a date by itself. A date is secured only after availability, scope, the booking agreement, and the required booking retainer are confirmed in writing.
