When should we book our engagement session?
Most couples book 6-10 months before the wedding so they can use photos for save-the-dates and wedding websites. But honestly, anytime works! The sooner the better while the excitement is fresh.
We're awkward in front of cameras. Will this be weird?
Not at all! We specialize in making couples feel natural and relaxed. We'll give you prompts and activities—walk together, whisper something funny, spin her around—that bring out real reactions instead of forced smiles.
What should we wear?
Coordinate without matching! We'll send you a detailed style guide after booking. Generally, solid colors photograph best. Bring 1-2 outfits each—one dressy, one casual—for variety.
What time of day is best?
Golden hour (the last 1-2 hours before sunset) gives the most gorgeous, romantic light. We can also do blue hour after sunset for moody, cinematic vibes. We'll recommend the perfect time based on your locations.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, please! Pets make engagement sessions even better. We'll capture some shots with your fur baby and some without. Just bring treats and a friend who can hold the leash during couple-only shots.
Are you also our wedding photographer?
We'd love to be! Many couples who book engagement sessions with us also book us for their wedding day. We offer a bundle discount if you book both. The engagement session also helps us build rapport so wedding day feels effortless.
