Group Photo FAQ
How many people can be in a group session?
Minimum 3 people for group pricing. We've handled groups as large as 20+. For groups over 10, we may bring a second photographer to make sure everyone gets great individual shots.
Do we all have to be from the same school?
Not at all! Mixed-school groups are common — you just pick a central NYC location like Central Park or Brooklyn Bridge that works for everyone.
Does everyone get their own individual photos?
Yes! Every person gets solo portraits plus all the group shots. The full gallery is shared with everyone in the group.
What if someone can't make it last minute?
As long as you still have 3+ people, the session goes on. We just need the minimum for group pricing to apply.
Can we do coordinated outfits?
Absolutely — and we encourage it! Whether it's matching colors, all-white, or just everyone in their school colors, coordinated groups look incredible. We can help with outfit planning.
How long does a group session take?
Our Best Friends package is 1.5 hours, which gives enough time for individual portraits of each person plus multiple group combinations. For larger groups (8+), we may recommend extending.
