Catalog Product Photography NYC

Give shoppers a clear way to compare your range. Plan photographs around the actual items, variations and image placements in your store, with a repeatable approach for the next batch.

Quoted for your brief

Creative professional, scope and delivery agreed before booking

Ask about this shoot

Start with your idea and rough date. We’ll work out the details.

Assorted skincare products and a green jade roller on a white striped towel

One catalog. A consistent view of every product.

For ecommerce teams, independent brands and wholesale sellers preparing a range, replacing inconsistent listings or bringing a seasonal update online. NYC and Queens projects can be scoped around a suitable studio or business location; access and transport are confirmed before booking.

Catalog photography prioritizes consistency and product information. A styled flat lay or advertising image serves a different purpose and can be added as a separate setup. Store management, product uploads and marketplace approval are separate from producing the images.

Every frame has a job to do

A plan built around your brief.

01

Approve the reference setup

Choose representative products and agree framing, lighting, background and retouching. Check a test image before applying the setup to a larger batch.

02

Work through the inventory

Keep products labeled and track completed views against the shot list. Group similar surfaces when practical, checking that every photograph corresponds to the correct variant and contents.

03

Deliver a usable library

Organize approved exports by SKU and view. Confirm masters and web versions. Agree a process for identifying missing views and requesting corrections within the written revision scope.

Illustrative scope: 12 items, three views each

Twelve distinct items photographed from three agreed views produce 36 final images. Four additional color variants requiring the same three views bring the brief to 48 images before any group or lifestyle scenes. This helps compare quotes: item count alone cannot describe the workload. A reflective finish may also require a setup change even when the image count stays the same.

Three things that help us plan.

An item-level inventory
List each SKU, color or bundle that must look different in the gallery. Mark the samples available, their condition and any packaging to include. A spreadsheet is more useful than a rough count from memory.
The required views
Identify main, reverse, detail, scale and any in-use views. Separate required photographs from optional choices. Note reflective, transparent or very small items because they can need different lighting and preparation.
Where the files will go
Share product-page examples, your store theme and marketplace requirements. Confirm crop, background, file type and naming before production. Uploads and account management are separate from image delivery.

Scope before surprises.

Catalog work is quoted for the approved item count, views, materials, preparation and editing. A per-product price does not automatically cover every variant, group arrangement or complex surface.

Confirm who cleans, steams, assembles and labels samples. Plan delivery, storage, return shipping and any insurance needs with the producer. For an on-site Queens shoot, identify staging space, power, loading access and a contact who can approve the reference setup. Studio rental, props, models, compositing and additional usage must be agreed separately where relevant.

Does this fit your plans?

Send your preferred date, location and what you need delivered. Review relevant work from the proposed creative professional, then confirm the scope, delivery timing and quote before booking.

Free inquiry; no date reserved. Studio hire, permits, extra editing and usage beyond the agreed scope may cost extra and should be confirmed in the quote.

Ask about session availability

Before you book.

Can you photograph a catalog in Queens?

Share the address, available space and product sizes. We will assess an on-site setup versus a studio. Confirm the production location and access before arranging sample transport.

Is this the same as flat lay photography?

Not necessarily. A catalog might need upright, side, detail or overhead views. Flat lay describes a camera arrangement; catalog work describes a consistent library for the range.

Will every marketplace accept the images?

Each destination controls approval. We plan around the requirements supplied in the brief. Check the current official guidance and agree any special exports or backgrounds before booking.

The optional $100 priority deposit after intake is credited toward the session but does not reserve a date by itself. A date is secured only after availability, scope, the booking agreement, and the required booking retainer are confirmed in writing.

Consumer packages include personal use, while headshot and model packages include professional self-promotion. Business packages can include website, organic social, recruiting, sales, press, and internal use. Paid advertising, outdoor campaigns, resale, and third-party use are licensed separately.
