NYU Grad Photo FAQ
When is the best time to shoot at Washington Square Park?
Early morning (before 9 AM) or golden hour (1-2 hours before sunset) gives you the best light and fewer tourists at the Arch. We'll schedule your session at the optimal time.
Can we shoot inside Bobst Library?
Bobst's atrium is stunning for photos. We can shoot at the exterior and entrance areas. Interior access depends on current NYU policies — we'll coordinate with you on what's possible.
Is Washington Square Park crowded during graduation season?
May and June are busy, but we know exactly where and when to shoot to avoid crowds. We also have backup spots in Greenwich Village that give you that classic NYU feel without the tourists.
Can I bring my friend group from NYU?
Absolutely! Our Best Friends package is perfect for NYU friend groups. You each get individual portraits PLUS group shots at the Arch and around the park.
When should I book my NYU graduation session?
Book at least 3-4 weeks before NYU's commencement. Washington Square Park sessions fill up fast during May — the earlier you book, the better your time slot options.
Can we also shoot at other NYC landmarks?
Yes! Our Full Session package includes 2 locations. Popular combos for NYU grads: WSP Arch + Brooklyn Bridge, WSP + SoHo streets, or WSP + The High Line.
