Product Advertising Videography NYC

A product film should answer a question that still images cannot. Plan a demonstration, a detail in motion or a short advertising sequence around a real feature, then define the versions your channels need.

Quoted for your brief

Creative professional, scope and delivery agreed before booking

Ask about this shoot

Start with your idea and rough date. We’ll work out the details.

Assorted skincare products and a green jade roller on a white striped towel

Show what the product does, one clear sequence at a time.

For brands launching a physical product, demonstrating a feature, replacing an unclear product-page video or preparing paid social creative. Start with the audience and use case so you can assess the proposed videographer and production approach before committing.

This service focuses on physical products. Leadership interviews and conference coverage have different production needs. Paid-media strategy, ad buying, platform approval and sales performance are not included unless separately agreed.

Every frame has a job to do

A plan built around your brief.

01

Agree the treatment

Outline opening, demonstration and closing frames. Separate the base edit from optional hooks and cutdowns. Check whether the action can be shown safely and accurately with the supplied samples.

02

Capture useful motion

Film details that explain the product, framed for the agreed versions. Allow for resets, cleaning and continuity. Plan dedicated stills if high-resolution catalog photographs are also required.

03

Review against the brief

Check legibility, accuracy, sound, captions and framing. Collect one consolidated feedback list for the agreed revision round, then export named versions for the intended destinations.

Illustrative scope: a reusable bottle demonstration

A product-page film might show the lid opening, the bottle being filled and the carry loop in use. An ad could open on the carry action and finish with an approved message. Vertical and landscape versions require framing decisions before filming. Performance claims need evidence from the brand; one filmed demonstration does not establish a universal claim.

Three things that help us plan.

One product and one message
Explain what the viewer should understand: how an item opens, folds, fits or is used. Supply the actual product, instructions and approved claims. Give each short film a clear job.
The versions you need
List placements, intended runtimes, orientation, captions, languages and whether sound is essential. Several opening hooks or calls to action create additional edits even when they share footage.
People, props and permissions
Identify hands, models, voices, surfaces and locations. Confirm who supplies and approves each element. Share the launch deadline and the person who will consolidate feedback.

Scope before surprises.

Quoted after reviewing the product, treatment, setup and edit list. Runtime alone does not determine price. Talent, styling, locations, animation, music, usage and extra versions must be included explicitly in the agreed scope.

Send product dimensions, materials and handling requirements early. Reflective surfaces, liquids or fragile parts can change the setup. Confirm sample delivery and return, studio access, safe demonstrations, licensed music, talent releases and file storage. Raw footage, project files, voiceover, animation and extra revision rounds are not assumed to be included.

Write a product-video brief that covers the deliverables

Does this fit your plans?

Send your preferred date, location and what you need delivered. Review relevant work from the proposed creative professional, then confirm the scope, delivery timing and quote before booking.

Free inquiry; no date reserved. Studio hire, permits, extra editing and usage beyond the agreed scope may cost extra and should be confirmed in the quote.

Request a project quote

Before you book.

Can one shoot supply a store video and social ads?

Often, when orientations, runtime and edit count are planned in advance. A new opening, language version or offer may require an additional edit.

Can you guarantee advertising results?

No. Audience, offer, landing page and media distribution also affect results. We agree deliverables and production scope rather than promising a return on ad spend.

Can we get catalog photos at the same time?

Ask for a combined scope. Still lighting, camera settings and required resolution may differ from video. Frame grabs are not automatically a substitute for a dedicated photo set.

The optional $100 priority deposit after intake is credited toward the session but does not reserve a date by itself. A date is secured only after availability, scope, the booking agreement, and the required booking retainer are confirmed in writing.

Consumer packages include personal use, while headshot and model packages include professional self-promotion. Business packages can include website, organic social, recruiting, sales, press, and internal use. Paid advertising, outdoor campaigns, resale, and third-party use are licensed separately.
