Best Spots
Every block is a backdrop.
SoHo and NoLIta offer more photogenic variety per square block than anywhere in NYC.
Greene Street Cast-Iron Facades
The most photographed block in SoHo. Ornate cast-iron architecture, fire escapes, and that unmistakable downtown aesthetic.
Prince Street Cobblestones
Historic cobblestone streets with a European feel. Quiet on early mornings, lively on afternoons.
Mercer Street
Narrow, shaded, and endlessly photogenic. Art galleries, boutiques, and perfect natural light in the afternoon.
Elizabeth Street (NoLIta)
Charming, colorful storefronts and cafe tables spilling onto the sidewalk. NoLIta at its most picturesque.
Spring Street
Mix of high fashion and neighborhood character. Great for walking shots and candid street-style imagery.
Crosby Street
Hidden alley energy. Brick walls, industrial doors, and the quiet side of SoHo that most people miss.
Timing Tips
When to shoot in SoHo.
The narrow streets and tall buildings create unique lighting. We know when each spot looks its best.
Early Morning (7-9am)
Empty streets, beautiful diffused light. SoHo is yours.
Mid-Morning (10am-12pm)
Good light on Greene and Mercer. Storefronts start to open for lifestyle shots.
Afternoon (1-4pm)
Shadows from tall buildings—we use them creatively. Great for moody portraits.
Golden Hour
Light catches the cast-iron facades beautifully. Prince and Spring glow.
Evening
Gallery lights, warm restaurant glow, and a different SoHo personality entirely.

Common questions.
What's the difference between SoHo and NoLIta?
SoHo is cast-iron architecture, wider streets, and high-end fashion. NoLIta (North of Little Italy) is smaller, more colorful, with charming cafe culture. Our Explorer package covers both.
Is SoHo good for headshots?
Excellent. The neutral tones of cast-iron buildings and the diffused light in narrow streets create naturally flattering backdrops for professional headshots.
How busy is it?
SoHo is always lively, but early mornings (before 9am) give you empty streets. We know which blocks stay quiet even at peak hours.
Can we duck into a cafe for some shots?
Absolutely. We have relationships with several SoHo and NoLIta cafes and know which ones are photogenic and photographer-friendly.
