It depends on the audition. Broadway and commercial dance calls often require body shots and movement photos. Ballet companies want to see technique. We'll help you figure out what you need.
Can you capture jumps and turns?
Yes! We use fast shutter speeds and continuous shooting to capture peak moments in jumps, turns, and dynamic movement. It takes some repetition, but we get the shot.
What if I'm not with an agency yet?
No problem—many dancers come to us before signing with an agency. Great photos can actually help you get signed. We'll make sure you have what agencies want to see.
How should I wear my hair?
Bring options! Many dancers do one look with hair down/natural and one with a clean bun or ponytail. We'll advise based on your style and goals.
