From “I need photos” to a plan.
1. Send a short inquiry
Choose a package if you know what you want. A preferred date, neighborhood, and a sentence about your profile are helpful; an elaborate brief is not required.
2. Review the photographer and details
We confirm availability and discuss the route, wardrobe, deliverables, editing, and delivery timing. Review the photographer’s relevant work and ask questions before committing.
3. Confirm, then show up as yourself
Your written booking details establish the scope and schedule. Bring the agreed outfits and leave time to arrive without rushing.
Before you book
- Share a few recent photos or references if you want to. They help explain what is missing.
- Ask about editing and delivery timing before confirming a session, especially if you have a deadline.
- Bring outfits you actually wear. Check fit and comfort before the day.
- Keep any favorite everyday photos. A professional gallery can support them rather than replace them.
The optional $100 priority deposit after intake is credited toward the session but does not reserve a date by itself. A date is secured only after availability, scope, the booking agreement, and the required booking retainer are confirmed in writing.
A few things you may be wondering.
Is hair and makeup included?
These packages include photography, planning, outfit guidance and the agreed edited gallery. Professional hair, makeup, styling and studio rental are not included unless separately quoted and confirmed.
Can I bring a friend to feel more comfortable?
Mention it in your inquiry so the photographer can plan around the setting. These packages photograph one person; photographing another person changes the scope.
Will the photos be used in your advertising?
Ask about image usage and privacy in the booking agreement before confirming. A personal-use license describes your use of the delivered photos; it does not answer every portfolio or publication question.
What happens if it rains?
Discuss a weather backup and the rescheduling terms before booking. A permitted indoor option or another date may make more sense than forcing the planned route.
When will I receive my photos?
Confirm the delivery date and editing scope in writing with your photographer before booking. If you need a rush turnaround, ask about availability and any added cost in your inquiry.
